Offering the best dark, golden, white and flavoured rums. Captain Morgan and Bacardi are our house, all the others cost a mere 20p extra, with the exception of Appleton's VX which is 60p more - whether you love the fuller, sugar cane rich flavour of the Havana family, the organic taste of Papagayo or a flavoured rum, our staff can guide you through these fantastic products.

Jefferson's. Not a sexy name but an exceptional Antiguan rum! Why not try it, it's not on sale anywhere else on Merseyside yet which is a real shame, and we have a feeling it will spread quickly.
Also Appleton's, best Jamaican rum in our opinion, a little more expensive but worth every penny, and
Pampero, a wonderfully golden Venezualan rum with a long history, not to be missed. Hugely popular in Spain.

Havana Club (Cuba)

Añejo 7 Años ABV 40%
This dark rum ('ron' in spanish) is a unique work of art, the epitome of Cuba's rum-making tradition. Sip it slowly and enjoy its unforgettably intense aroma.
Añejo Especial ABV 40%
This golden rum is aged in oak barrels, giving it a remarkable aroma and a warm golden glow. You can savour it on the rocks or mixed with cola or ginger, all with a wedge of lime.
Añejo 3 Años ABV 40%
Also aged in oak barrels, giving it a unique and flavourful bouquet, an exceptional white rum. A great Cuban classic and Hemingway's favourite. Perfect with cola or ginger, with lime
Añejo Blanco ABV 37.5%
With delicate straw coloured shades and a fresh, fruity flavour, this traditional white rum is the first class mix for the classic Cuba Libre (Rum, cola & a wedge of lime over ice). Or with Cranberry Juice for a refreshing summer alternative.
Mount Gay (Barbados) ABV 40%
Widely recognised as the oldest rum in the world, Mount Gay has been hand crafted at the same location on Barbados for more than 300 years using a unique production process to please the palate of connoisseurs the world over. Savour with cola, tonic or your favourite mixer.....
Appleton Estate Golden (Jamaica) ABV 40%
This mature blend of premuim aged rum is produced on the Appleton Estate, home of the finest rums since 1749. the full, rich flavour is the ultimate expression of the rum makers art.
Pampero Golden (Venezuela) ABV %
Produced since 1938 at a C19th family-owned "Hacienda La Guadalupe". Known by Venezuelans as "Caballito Frenao" (Bitten Horse), a reference to its logo, a cowboy riding in the Venezuelan plains, Pampero literally means "from the Pampas".
Pampero rums have won several international prizes, including the Gold Award Premium Category for several years, and Best Rum at the prestigious 2007 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Papagayo Fairtrade Organic Golden (Paraguay) ABV 37.5%
The parrots (papagayos) brighten canefields where they live free from dangerous insecticides & pesticides. This rum is distilled from Fairtrade certified sugar grown organically in rural Paraguay providing work and improved living standards for 100's of small scale farmers.
Papagayo has a rounded smoothness. Suitable for coeliacs, veggies and vegans.
Jefferson's Extra Fine Dark Rum (Antigua) ABV 40%
Established in 1785 (same year as The Grapes), imported into Whitehaven by the Jeffersons from their Yeaman Estate in Antigua. It is a rich, beautifully textured dark rum with a fine balance of toffee, liquorice and vanilla with subtle hints of honeycomb & fruit. Aged in oak casks.

Sailor Jerry Spiced Caribbean ABV 40%
Sailor Jerry Collins (1911-73) was the most famous tattoo artist of all time. He was the 1st to go to Japan to learn the sacred art of tattooing back in the 1920's, he set up shop in Honolulu in the '30's decorating sailors with his distinctive designs. After his death his family found a recipe for this spiced rum, although nobody knows where it actually came from! A full flavour of caramelly vanilla &.......
Morgan Spiced Golden ABV 35%
A spirit drink of premium Caribbean rum, blended with the mellow spices of Cassia and Vanilla, delicious with cola or ginger or whatever you fancy..
Captain Morgan (Jamaica, Guyana & Barbados) ABV 40%
Captain Henry Morgan, the legendary buccaneer was appointed governer of Jamaice in 1680. His great charm won him the respect of noblemen and the loyalty of his crew. The rich smooth flavour of Captain Morgan rum is enjoyed by anyone who seeks the true taste of the Caribbean.
Bacardi Superior White (Bahamas) 37.5%
The Bacardi Company has a storied history, with its foundation taking place in Cuba in 1862 and later moving to Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. Even though the HQ has changed locations, the rum is still made using basically the same recipe from the past. The only things that have changed are the filtering and aging processes.
Malibu White (Barbados) ABV 21%
Treasure the unique taste of Malibu, the original caribbean rum with coconut. A taste of paradise you can enjoy anytime. Try with Cola, Lemonade or perhaps with Cranberry Juice and a wedge of lime or Pineapple Juice.
